Commune of Mironeasa, Iași county

The coat of arms of Mironeasa commune reflects the historical, natural, and spiritual identity of the place.

The lower part features the Virgin Mary with Child, inspired by the miracle-working icon at Hadâmbu Monastery, one of the most important spiritual landmarks in the area. In the upper part, the two oak trees symbolize the richness of the surrounding forests and the strong connection between the community and nature.

The chevron alludes to the historical name of the region – “Dealul Mare” (The Great Hill), suggesting the characteristic hilly landscape. The three drops on the chevron are derived from the coat of arms of the Ghica family and symbolize their historical presence in the area, while the small crosses come from the arms of the Duca family, reflecting their role in the local past.

The mural crown indicates the administrative status of a commune.
